A minority of voters have foisted an Autocrat upon the nation. Autocrat: someone who insists on complete obedience from others; an imperious or domineering person.

Rmoney, Not A Diplomat, Not A Foreign Policy Expert
"President George W. Bush urged (deposed Egyptian President) Hosni Mubarak to move toward a more democratic posture, but President Obama abandoned the freedom agenda and we are seeing today a whirlwind of tumult in the Middle East." ~ seen on facebook
Whatta load a hooey. Obviously Hosni Mubarak ignored GWB's advice. That left his peeps no choice but to overthrow his dictatorial ass. Seems to me that Obama encouraged the freedom agenda of the Egyptian peeps overthrowing a dictator and choosing their own leader. So sorry that the right wing in America doesn't approve of their choice of leaders. That's the 'price we pay for democracy'.
Oh, one more thing. I'd say that GWB created a whole lot of Middle East turmoil and death thanks to his Horrific War On Terrah™.

Anybody Surprised? FORMER FLORIDA REPUBLICAN PARTY CHAIR SAYS REPUBLICANS ACTIVELY SUPPRESSED THE BLACK VOTE
In a 630-page deposition, released to the press yesterday, former Republican Party Chairman Jim Greer described a systemic effort by Republicans to suppress the black vote. Referring to a 2009 meeting with party officials, Greer said “I was upset because the political consultants and staff were talking about voter suppression and keeping blacks from voting.” He also said party officials discussed how “minority outreach programs were not fit for the Republican Party.” Florida is currently embroiled in a controversy surrounding Gov. Rick Scott’s (R) voter purge program, which disproportionately affects voters of color. Fifty-eight percent of Scott’s original list of voterswho were supposedly ineligible to voter were Hispanic while Hispanics make up only 13 percent of Florida’s eligible voters. Greer and the GOP cut ties in 2010, and he is currently facing felony corruption charges.

Michele Bachmann's Muslim Brotherhood Claims Condemned By Catholic Bishops, 41 Other Groups
Forty-two religious and secular organizations united on Thursday in condemning conservative lawmakers' allegations that Muslim-American individuals connected to the U.S. government may be trying to spread the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood.
They directed their criticisms at Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), Thomas Rooney (R-Fla.) and Lynn Westmoreland (R-Ga.), who recently wrote to various government agencies and asked them to investigate the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood. In their letters, the lawmakers targeted top State Department official Huma Abedin and several advisers to the Department of Homeland Security.
"[W]e write to raise our voices in protest of your recent letters regarding prominent American Muslim individuals and organizations," the 42 organizations wrote in a letter to the lawmakers on Thursday. "These letters question the loyalty of faithful Americans based on nothing more than their religious affiliations and what is at best tenuous evidence of their associations. As such, your actions have serious implications for religious freedom and the health of our democracy."

Mr. Rmoney Goes To London
After attacking President O'Bama for poor foreign relations, Mitt Rmoney went to London to show how it's supposed to be done. Unfortunately, he managed to insult the British people and their Olympic preparations, forget the name of a British politician he was meeting with, insult Mr. O'Bama's heritage (a no-no when traveling in a foreign land), and do the diplomatically unthinkable act of publicly disclosing that he had a supposedly secret meeting with the head of British intel. Mitt generally become a laughing stock to the British people and an embarrassment to the USA.
Naturally, the right wing is downplaying all of this saying, "Well uh.. well uh.. uhhhhh." An Rmoney adviser said he was off to Israel, and oh, by the way, O'Bama's popularity there is only in the single digits. Well, doesn't THAT excuse Rmoney's foreign relations blunders! A fact check by CNN shows that, according to the Israelis, O'Bama has a 54% favorability rating in Israel. How 'bout that!
Lord help us if this doofus becomes President.

Disassociation Nation
As a culture, we have become so disassociated from reality that we are to the point where even though men, women and children are mowed down in schools, movie theaters and streets by nut jobs with assault weapons, we rush to defend the right to own these absolutely inessential weapons constructed with the sole purpose of shredding human flesh as efficiently as possible, and cite shaky-at-best interpretations of the Second Amendment as justification.
That's disassociation.
These loud, certain voices never look at the puddles of spilled life on the ground, they never see the mayhem wrought from easy access to weapons of the mass's destruction, never see the families destroyed, never acknowledge those obliterated potentials, never hear the cries of terror and wails of grief. They are disassociated to the point of certifiable sociopathy. Never taking a step back, never looking inward or outward, these lost souls are dedicated to preserving their identities as weapons themselves, having long ago jettisoned any empathy for other human beings, and becoming utterly and fatally disassociated from life.
And naturally, they are disassociated from the cold reality that the very presence of this kind of thinking can only and ever result in carnage.
More HERE.
But I suppose you might think you need to rise up with your long gun against the gummit's tanks, missiles, smart bombs; and in your anger against O'Bummer become a smear of pink on the street. I guess I understand now.

Economists: GOP Jobs Package Doesn't Actually Create Jobs
No shit, Sherlock...
WASHINGTON -- House Republicans routinely beat the drum about the hard work they have done in passing "more than 30 jobs bills" that are now before the Democrat-controlled Senate, going nowhere, as the economy gasps for air.
WASHINGTON -- House Republicans routinely beat the drum about the hard work they have done in passing "more than 30 jobs bills" that are now before the Democrat-controlled Senate, going nowhere, as the economy gasps for air.
For almost a year, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) have plugged their jobs package at every opportunity. They regularly bring it up at press events, during floor speeches and in statements in response to just about anything related to the economy. Boehner even carries aroundin his jacket pocket a 4-by-8-inch card that lists off their jobs bills, and he encourages his members to flash their cards at campaign events.
The GOP jobs package, which currently includes 32 bills, represents Republicans' hallmark legislative accomplishment over the past two years. In the months ahead of the election, they will lean on it as proof of two things: that they are not the do-nothing obstructionists that Democrats paint them as, and that they are working hard to address the 8.2 percent unemployment rate.
But there's a problem with their jobs bills: They don't create jobs. At least, they won't any time soon.
In interviews conducted by The Huffington Post with five economists, most said the GOP jobs package would have no meaningful impact on job creation in the near term. Some said it was not likely to do much in the long term, either.
