Congressional Candidate Warns Wisconsin Marriage Ruling May Lead To Incestuous Marriage

A Wisconsin Republican congressional hopeful warned Tuesday that a federal court ruling striking down the state’s ban on same-sex marriage could lead to the legalization of marriage between siblings.

Karen Mueller, an Eau Claire attorney whose practice hasfocused on opposing abortion and defending those “discriminated against and harassed in the workplace, the school, college and/or the public square because of their faith,” is one of three Republican candidates seeking to challenge Rep. Ron Kind (D-WI). At a Republican Party of Monroe County candidate forum, she denounced the ruling and warned that it would create a slippery slope

According to the Tomah Journal, Mueller said that the ruling might set a precedent that any two people can marry: “We’ve got, for instance, two sisters, and these two sisters want to get married. They love each other. They are committed to each other. They want to spend the rest of their life together.” Lawyers, Mueller explained, would be able to argue “‘We can just do away with that state law the same way we did away with sodomy laws,’” noting that “once you do away with that, you reveal what is really going on here.”

More Right Wing Violence

Another "sovereign citizen" rampage...

Stevo's Ben Ghazi! Ben Ghazi!! Ben Ghazi!!! Report

Fox News, then: Bring suspects to justice!

Fox News, today: Why now?

Then: "May 2014, and you still haven't brought anyone to justice!" Judge Jeanine Pirro complained on her Fox News program just last month. Fox's Eric Bolling, denouncing the lack of detained Benghazi suspects on The Five, July 31, 2013: "Nice job, President O, no suspects, no interviews, no leads, and no answers." And Fox contributor Allen West signed on to a letter bemoaning the fact that "not a single terrorist in this well-planned and executed military attack by radical Islamists has been apprehended."

Now: "What a great thing to announce on an interview tonight at Fox News, that the perpetrators have been bought to justice," said Fox contributor Pete Hegseth. "It's all too neat and it's too cute." Added Fox host Kennedy: "You have a former secretary of state, who is in the middle of a really high profile book tour, I think this is convenient for her to shift the talking points from some of the things she has been discussing."

Guess Who Predicted The Quagmire In Iraq...

Make no mistake about it, we created a “quagmire” in Iraq when we overthrew a stable, if naughty, regime there. Once Saddamn was overthrown, we have seen nothing but car bombings, assassinations, more car bombings, sectarian warfare occur in that sad, sorry country. Our intervention, in a sovereign nation which did not invade us or provide any sort of threat to our safety and security, has definitely created a quagmire that shows no sign of ending.

Now that local thugs are gaining the upper hand in Iraq, we hear the same old warmongers hollering for more US intervention and moaning how dumb O'Bama was for putting an end to our involvement in the never-ending quagmire that we created.

The part that pisses me off the most is that the biggest warmonger of them all, Dick Cheney, WARNED US THAT THIS WOULD BE THE OUTCOME IF WE OVERTHREW SADDAMN!

Right after Gulf War One, Cheney explained why we didn't go on into Baghdad and remove Saddamn:

“Once you got to Iraq and took it over, took down Saddam Hussein's government, then what are you going to put in its place? That's a very volatile part of the world, and if you take down the central government of Iraq, you could very easily end up seeing pieces of Iraq fly off: part of it, the Syrians would like to have to the west, part of it -- eastern Iraq -- the Iranians would like to claim, they fought over it for eight years. In the north you've got the Kurds, and if the Kurds spin loose and join with the Kurds in Turkey, then you threaten the territorial integrity of Turkey.

“It's a QUAGMIRE if you go that far and try to take over Iraq.

“The other thing was casualties. Everyone was impressed with the fact we were able to do our job with as few casualties as we had. But for the 146 Americans killed in action, and for their families -- it wasn't a cheap war. And the question for the president, in terms of whether or not we went on to Baghdad, took additional casualties in an effort to get Saddam Hussein, was how many additional dead Americans is Saddam worth?

“Our judgment was, not very many, and I think we got it right.”

Oh, if only Dick Cheney Two had listened to Dick Cheney One! During and after our incursion in Iraq, the Shiite hit the fan almost as he predicted. QUAGMIRE, THOUSANDS of unnecessary American military deaths, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of unnecessary innocent Iraqi civilian deaths, bombings out the wazoo, several different terrorist groups trying to take over the government, all because we invaded Iraq. We made an incredible mess out of Iraq thanks to pursuing a war against a nation that did not attack us on 9/11.

So don't give me any bullshit that any of this continuing Iraqi QUAGMIRE is O'Bama's fault. Bush/Cheney spread hogwash as to why we needed to invade a stable country. The predicted QUAGMIRE has resulted. And this QUAGMIRE is on their heads. Don't give me any bullshit that we left Iraq too soon. We were there for years and years and years and years. We've done enough damage to Iraq. We ain't worth a damn at nation building.

Arming Peeps With TEH POTS!

Let's see. Another school shooting today. And silly folks are already saying we should arm all the "good" people to protect us from all the "bad" people. Of course, these silly folks oppose any efforts to weed out the "bad" people from getting guns. As Joe the "Plumber" recently said, "As harsh as this sounds – your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional rights."

I got a better idea: arm all the alleged "good" people, hell, arm the "bad" people too, with some good ole TEH POTS. Just lookie at Denver's experience:

Despite dire predictions, Denver crime falls over 10 percent in wake of pot legalization

Another Fluid Situation. Because... 'merica!

Fools are already saying that this weekend's shooting by "Don't Tread On Me" killers and today's school shooting were done to "take away are gunz". I've seen the posts. smh...

It's Different With A White President

New Motto?

The Warrior Ethos: "Leave no man behind."

The New Republican Ethos: "Well, unless O'Bama is President. We'll hate on O'Bama if he doesn't and if he does, too!"
