FOX News is pulling no punches in their desperate attempt to get Congressman Anthony Weiner to resign. Sean Hannity went as far as interviewing former House member and Republican Mark Foley who was forced to resign in 2006 after sending solicitous sexually charged text messages to “underage” teenage males who were then current and former Congressional pages. Is Sean Hannity serious? Trotting out a guy who was soliciting underage boys and then investigated by the FBI and law enforcement for career advice reeks of desperation.
Fox News has been parading guest after guest and FOX News commentator after commentator since the scandal began pushing for Congressman Weiner’s resignation. Interestingly enough they have yet to ask for Republican Senator David Vitter’s resignation whose name appeared on a list of “johns” that we customers at a brothel in Washington D.C. Fox seems to be overlooking the fact that Congressman Weiner didn't have sex with a prostitute which is illegal nor did he try to lure underage boys online which is illegal.
